Continue on.. After camwhoring during the break, the Best Mask award contest begins @.@ The mc asked volunteers to go up stage to join in the best mask.. Now this I hafta praise coz like tis, they no nd to judge all 500 ppl’s mask to choose oni 1 best mask @.@ So.. me Onineko Teddy and Snowfish went up hoping we can win lol.. All our mask were custom made ourselves de except Snowfish’s haha.. And here’s the contestants for best mask award (credit to ToMCaT for helping take the photos) :

20 contestants.. Each cat walk on the stage and posed for the VIPs to vote.. 😀 and the most voted is thses two :

Mr Vendetta and Mr Sad-face @.@ Very unexpected lol.. In the end, Mr Vendetta won.. And the prize seems to be another mask encased in glass o.O

Ah forgot about the Prom King and Queen performance, it was before the Best Mask Award haha.. But I din go take photos of them, coz was bit tired and lazy to go all the way to the stage again, everyone was seated at their tables @.@ It was a nice performances by the nominees ^^  Prom King is Jordan while Prom Queen is Aprillia.. Now this is something I like, is that the nominees were required to make their own stick MASK.. And this is related to the theme~~~ Its gud to stick to the theme all the way ^^

But then.. They put the dance at the END! As a conclusion to the nite.. and that’s a very very bad idea @.@ Prom Nite is all about the dancing if I’m not mistaken.. And like Snowfish mentioned, should be put during the climax of the event >< dunno why they put at the end.. Ppl would have no mood and left adi.. Just my opinion, maybe shudnt have too much performances at 1st, but pull the hair show forward and then the dance, following that, Prom King Queen and best mask.. Like that then only can “force” the guests to stay. Then they can pull ppl in to dance and etc.. Was disappointed the dance was at the end, wanna go off adi, couldn’t dance with my girlfriends XD And this makes the whole nite boring.. Really jz like normal formal dinner.. No difference than other functions coz ppl aren’t wearing their mask at all.. saying not comfortable, and some saying organizers not wearing, mc not wearing, VIPs not wearing.. so they jz follow the majority not to wear mask.. How lame is that? == Me and Onineko them so rajin wore from home adi, but din expect the organizers themselves not wearing at all.. Such a discouragement le.. Own event, own set de theme, own hardwork to sell masks to ppl to wear during Prom Nite, but din support own set de theme.. Why izzit they dun wana wear.. Reason: Very hard to work and handle the event while wearing mask, later ppl can’t recognize them if needed urgently, wear mask later sweaty will affect mc’s performance on stage.. OK.. honestly I think these reasons are not very very good for such an event… It makes me think they’re not really serious about the theme, all simply de, got wear no wear also ntg de, eventhough they set rules that mask had to be worn at all times.. This really ruined the masquerade mood 🙁 I wore make up, wore the mask, all the way from home, til on the way go home I still wear din even took it off le.. I can do it, why cant they? I was oso sweating under my mask, I make the effort to get used to it, bcoz I like the theme, I respect the theme.. == All they give are excuses o.. not very serious ones kok.. haih.. if say more, they’ll say we complain too much, then shud go for Presidency next year.. hmmm.. Lucky some of them still ok, got accept my feedbacks.. The most basic thing for Prom Nite should have been the theme, hatfa stick to the theme.. else the theme set for what? @.@ Even our last year’s Anime Gathering theme is “Strawberry”, everyone hafta bring something Strawberry related, no exception.. many complained, but we still stick to the theme, that’s what makes it interesting ^^ To require everyone to wear their mask, is not a hard job.. MC can remind ppl to wear mask politely, staffs who saw ppl not wearing can ask them to wear politely.. doesn’t take long ^^” Since they got set the rule requiring ppl wear mask at all times == If they dun wanna wear, no nd go to the Prom liao.. swt.. ok i’m writing too much.. Well, if I complained too much, paiseh la.. girls are calculative one ma lol.. You dun see guys complain much rite? 😛 Overall, can be better if they din mess up with the dancing time and sticking to the theme, serious about it.. I wouldn’t mind about our table location too lol.. coz with dancing, can always go to the dancing floor adi, not only stick at the table nia @.@ quite boring tat nite, if it wasn’t for camwhoring, would be bored to death >< Coz all we ask are not a TV celebrity host to come all the way from KL, or fancy performances by famous ppl.. That’s just enhancing event standard, not the uniqueness >< Keyword : Masquerade night and dancing 😀
