Mooncake @ Swan Teem BBQ Steamboat

How did you celebrate your Mooncake Festival last Sun? Well, for me, me and my parents *sister went to a wedding dinner swt* went to enjoy Steamboat~ At 1st wanted to go to Shabu Shabu, but then never tried the steamboat at Swan Teem RH Plaza there, so… lidat lo.. we went and there were so many cars and people o.O Luckily we found a nice parking slot near Swan Teem Restaurant wahahhaa..

The BBQ steamboat for 1 person is RM18 (adult) Din saw any sign for the price for children owh..  The price is not including drinks, they will keep refilling the raw food though including ice-cream hehehe.. Ate twice 2 scoops 😛

The restaurant in which there was a wedding dinner inside o.O

Rich in meat, seasoned~

And vegetables corner too, I see Shitaka mushroom? If that’s how it spelled lol

Mum collected these..

 I collected these..

And these~ Moving effect o.O

Burn burn burn, boil boil boil~ And into the mouth haha..

Ate til very full coz we can keep taking the meats and veges and ice-creams *.* The lamb chop they prepared were very nice after we “burnt” them lol When we finish, the other customers were nearly gone too, was crowded at 1st, luckily we sat further and more open space, can felt the wind haha.. else it would be very hot and sweaty eating our dinner >.<

Joo Him Cafe

Joo Him Cafe, a famous lunch place for some of Swinburne students including me and my friends~ It’s located opposite Shabu Shabu across the road behind RHB Bank, or next next next to Gamelyn haha.. The fast food there is very recommended, cheap, large portion(can take as much as you wan) and price fixed 1, 1 vege 1 meat RM3.50, 1 vege 2 meat RM4, doesn’t simply charge like other places o.O Drinks like normal kopitiam charges lo.. haha. But too bad, if wan fast food, need to be very early before 12pm hafta be there adi.. else no more meat and vege ^^” swt.. But they do cook some noodle or rice or laksa other than fast food, so late comers, no worries! haha.. That’s us adi.. ><

Joo Him Cafe~ Got Kolo Mee la.. fast food.. Laksa.. Fried Noodle.. suitable for us poor students lol

Me, Ajay and Takuya ordered Fried Rice with Kiam Hu.. RM3.50 A big portion le.. o.O and yum yum.. 😛

Cha Kuew Tiaw~ Ordered by Intel and LRP o.. RM3.50 too, quite alot after watching them eat haha..

Their food they cook there is quite nice and quantity-wise alot.. o.O Price affordable and cheap haha.. If cafeteria and ChiliPeppers very packed, we’ll just choose to go to Joo Him Cafe~ swt.. Swinburne is expanding fast, causing too much students too few eating space lol

Happy Valley in Inti

After Melvin told us the SAMS club gang that Happy Valley opened in Inti Cafeteria we were interested in going there to try. So, follow Melvin’s car the next day “sneak” into Inti just to try the food lol

Ordered Bandung, RM2

Originally ordered Cheese Chicken Chop RM10.90 but saw it when they served, very small portion omg o.O So ordered Butter Chicken Rice RM4.00 Portion still so-so only o.O

Then still feeling hungry, me and Onineko share share ordered Omellete that Melvin ordered earlier which caught my eye *.* RM6.50 for the dish..

Something that Melvin ordered caught my eye again o.O Me and Onineko and Jessy ordered 1 each.. RM3.00 not bad la the price haha.. The garlic bread 1 piece oni looked abit.. er.. plain? ^^”

Overall la.. I dunno about Happy Valley near Crown Square there de la.. But I just think that Happy Valley in Inti really lack of enough portion for hungry students swt..  a bit simply lo.. haha.. ^^” Maybe they just need more improvements that’s all or it wasn’t enough for me swt.. XD

Fern’s Cafe

Discovered a new Cafe within tHe Spring~ o.O It was so hidden that you can only notice it if you’re buying drinks in the Food Bazaar swt.. So went and try the new cafe called Fern’s Cafe.. The fern of plant o.. 😛

The interior of the cafe.. No one was there as it was 3 something in the afternoon o.O Green green as fern.. decorated with Ketupat for the coming Raya ^^

I ordered Mango Juice which costs around RM1.80-2.00 if not mistaken..

As it was not peak time, only Fish Finger was available.. The others not prepared yet.. o.O I was huh? What the..? Why???! >< I wan try the omelette~! swt.. But it wasn’t bad, RM4 for such a nice quantity of Fish and Frech Fries haha..

And I was having a sore throat and dry cough at that time ^^” swt.. Not bad for a new cafe, prices are worth it, depends on what you order though, I saw some are not very appetizing o.O Just my view.. hehe.. Different people different opinions 😛

tHe Spring Foodz

Last week and last last week (maybe) compiled some food recommendations, in tHe Spring where I think it’s priced reasonably and quality-wise good.. In my opinion la.. haha.. And some updates on Spring’s changing decorations 😛 Well, just a random post but all about tHe Spring~ Which foodz you can try and worth it? What I think is..

Food Bazaar

Fish n Chips RM13.00 from the Western Food corner. From my experience, it’s a lot~! o.O If you think my appetite is big, then you can share this 1 plate with a fren le.. coz there’s a lot of French Fries that you won’t be able to finish after you’ve eaten the fish.. haha..

Chicken Teriyaki Don RM7.00 I wonder if I spelled it correct o.O oh well.. From the Japanese food corner. In my view I think it’s quite reasonable for a Japanese dish and it’s fulfilling to the belly haha.. It comes with a miso soup so no worries if it’s too dry 😉

Gyu Don *All beef* RM8.00 also comes with the same miso soup ^^

Not sure wats the name adi, but it’s Chicken meat with egg in Japanese style.. RM6.50

Niku Ramen I think o.O RM8+ swt.. I forgot T.T excluding miso soup. But I prefer the rice ones, got miso soup lol

While waiting for food, suddenly the door to Food Baazar closed down o.O omg.. trapped!

Decorations

Currently in Spring, they are decorating the ceiling with this beautiful golden cloth ^^

The stage area, as it’s nearing Raya, they use the Malay concept to design the stage, quite nice, I like how they build the 3D effect in them haha

This fountain is nicely designed too. The lighting effect, the plant and even the white stones used to form the star shape under the water on the surface of the floor ^^

There’s actually many quality and reasonable food in the Spring, for now I recommend these hehe.. Cheers for the foodz! lol
