Vogue Cafe

Went to a new cafe named Vogue Cafe for lunch a few days ago 😛

And you know what? It was just located in 4th mile, near 688 Hot Market area, opposite Unaco next to the pet shops at the end of the row o.O Never knew there was a cafe there, well, it has just opened though, some can see their ad in the newspapers, including my mum wow.. lol I just knew after Jimmy posted it up in his blog swt..

The atmosphere is as rumored, nice and comfy with pillows all over..

This made me wonder if people eating can be displayed at the window glass lol coz that area is where ppl display their products XD

Inside there’s a white area.. Looks high class and “one of a kind” feeling ^^” White = cool!

Pork Leg with rice RM5.90 Very satisfied with this, rich in quantity and quality, love the cute pot :3

Rendang with rice RM5.90

How would the rice looked like? With a lota space in the middle o.O

Oreo Chocolate RM5.90 and Peppermint ?? RM4.90

Took their namecard wahaha.. Weekdays opened 11.30am-2.30pm, 5.30pm-12.00am.Weekends 11.30am-12.00am midnight

They even got an LCD attached to the ceiling and a screen readied o.O So I think anyone can present anything there, even karaoke? hoho.. This is quite a decent cafe with reasonable or rather cheap price o.. I’m gonna intro this cafe to my parents, especially my dad, coz he also like me, loves pork meat 😛 They also got western meal like Lamb Chop, Chicken Chop, Spaghetti etc etc, local food like rendang, kacama, duck soup etc etc as well as snacks like French Fries etc etc XD The most expensive price for drinks is RM5.90 while soft drinks during lunch time is RM1.90, night time RM2.90 ^^

Vogue Cafe can compete with Isabella’s Cafe in terms of environment and price o.O

SAMS Anniversary 2008

On 24th September last Wednesday, our SAMS(Anime & Manga Society) club had a very simple and quiet Anniversary, not as grand as last year’s which was held at Rakutei, Crown Square o.O and costed RM40 *I helped dig out RM50 last minute to patch some expenses too* This year, we had a BBQ, at rain’s house.. RM10 per pax.

Preparing charcoals for BBQ o.O

Marinated chicken wings? “yan” already de chicken wings lol

Hm.. It’s getting hot! Quick turn! XD

Robert, rain and Onineko BBQ’ing.. I got help poke and turn the chicken hehe.. But cudn’t turn efficiently ><

The main table of food.. There’s fruit punch prepared by rain’s mum o.. ^^ It’s very nice.. I drank a lot of it wahaha..

Other than that, his mum let us enjoy her home made bread o.O looks like cake isn’t it? nop, its bread and taste like bread lol

Before..

After..

Hiak hiak hiak.. Hiong le.. lol but not all are mine la.. ^^”

We also had BBQ’ed potato.. Mmm mm.. yummy le.. >_< some were pitch black due to BBQ too long lol

Playing in the living room while some others were cleaning up *rain, bunnie, onineko, me and tomi*. Was very very full at that time o.O *still eating* lol

Honestly I don’t really like BBQ aside from the heat and smoke, I knew there would be unfair effort at preparing the BBQ, panggang the chickens and stuff.. I wasn’t informed of the decision to BBQ for anniversary when the others had a meeting on it, if I was there *went to work at the time apparently* I would disagree to BBQ instantly and strongly o.O it’s so “ma fan” and who would wanna do all the preparations and cleaning job, not to say doing it at people’s house =.= I know coz I also will be too lazy to help out with it either, that’s why wanna do it so everyone of us dun need to put in much effort and just enjoy.. For example, BBQ Steamboat at RH Plaza? RM18 eat all you want + no need clean.. was informed that 2 person suggested the BBQ idea and that 2 person din even help swt.. In the end a few other people help out only.. The others, eat play and go.. Was disappointed la.. especially those who keep making noises at the table sitting there refusing to help out with the BBQ.. Haiyo.. Felt like wanna kick them that time grr.. Even I helped out at least though I oppose strongly towards the BBQ idea, “bu ren xin” see our president do all the stuff alone.. That’s why I don’t like BBQ if not everyone’s eager to help out with it! o.O at least take turns burning the chicken.. >.< As far as I know, RM200-300 was spent for the BBQ :S and only 18 people attended the event.. So you know lo.. RM10 so cheap, too cheap, I think our president patch the rest of the expense himself again..? Prefer go BBQ Steamboat better, unlimited again.. RM18 is not expensive right..? o.O Don’t say no $$ if you’re not even gonna help out with the event but doesn’t wanna stop eating.. =.=

Oh well, just expressing my feelings for that night.. I’m finish ranting 😀 Next time, no more BBQ! No more very “ma fan” punya event, get it? Dun say din warn ya o.. Just go store eat together, simple simple~ Please~?

*I apologize if I said anything insulting? I’m just being honest o.O *

The Sarawak Club Golf Resort

Last Sunday me and my family went to The Sarawak Club Golf Resort located at Samarahan there near Unimas, or should I say, next to Unimas o.O The Golf Resort is still new itself but it’s now open to its members who likes playing golf. By being a member of The Sarawak Club is very benefiting as you get to enjoy their low rates, facilities, and quality food and services eg can karaoke for free at the city’s Sarawak Club 😛

Ok, back to the topic~ The design for the new golf resort is beautiful using the latest favourite trend haha..

The Sarawak Club Golf Resort~!

Looks a bit barren as the resort is still new, and still in development for the road there. There’s a shade for those golfers who feels hot for the 2nd pic, long and nice, looks like an ancient artifact from Greek o.O

The entrance. Looks stylish and a trendy new design, very nice, it’s actually useful for drying clothes behind houses, sun light can go through, rain won’t wet our clothes lol

From the inside out and the landscape beside the entrance

One of the space, haven put in stuff I think o.O and the way deeper in lol

When turn right after the entrance, there is a sports shop maybe for the golfers haha..

The way down.. Not completely finished yet ^^”

Then go in further we found The Terrace Bar. Yes! A place to eat lol

The interior is comfy and air-conditioned, so after play golf hot hot can go in The Terrace Bar relax cool your body haha..

And you know what, the tables and chairs were the same as The Original Carwash’s o.O no wonder they looked familiar swt..

So much.. o.O Are they restaurants like The Original Carwash too?

Our drinks from the left Longan Ice Tea RM5.40, Cranberry Soda RM4.05 and Sprite Float RM4.05

French Fries RM 5.40 and this needs membership card of Sarawak before you can eat lol Apparently all these were discounted 10% each, coz used Junior Membership card? ^^”

The Terrace Bar’s printed Menu, not really prepared yet are they? haha

Outside view, another nice design o.O

The trendy stairs too.. looks nice.. hehe

And I still thought golf course only have golf area and resting place lol

The buggy station~

Finally~ Happy golfing at the new Sarawak Club Golf Resort haha XD I dunno why they chose resort? o.O Sounds like a hotel swt..

That’s all, am tired after doing my assignment o.O Dateline is today! lol

Joo Him Cafe

Joo Him Cafe, a famous lunch place for some of Swinburne students including me and my friends~ It’s located opposite Shabu Shabu across the road behind RHB Bank, or next next next to Gamelyn haha.. The fast food there is very recommended, cheap, large portion(can take as much as you wan) and price fixed 1, 1 vege 1 meat RM3.50, 1 vege 2 meat RM4, doesn’t simply charge like other places o.O Drinks like normal kopitiam charges lo.. haha. But too bad, if wan fast food, need to be very early before 12pm hafta be there adi.. else no more meat and vege ^^” swt.. But they do cook some noodle or rice or laksa other than fast food, so late comers, no worries! haha.. That’s us adi.. ><

Joo Him Cafe~ Got Kolo Mee la.. fast food.. Laksa.. Fried Noodle.. suitable for us poor students lol

Me, Ajay and Takuya ordered Fried Rice with Kiam Hu.. RM3.50 A big portion le.. o.O and yum yum.. 😛

Happy Valley in Inti

After Melvin told us the SAMS club gang that Happy Valley opened in Inti Cafeteria we were interested in going there to try. So, follow Melvin’s car the next day “sneak” into Inti just to try the food lol

Ordered Bandung, RM2

Originally ordered Cheese Chicken Chop RM10.90 but saw it when they served, very small portion omg o.O So ordered Butter Chicken Rice RM4.00 Portion still so-so only o.O

Then still feeling hungry, me and Onineko share share ordered Omellete that Melvin ordered earlier which caught my eye *.* RM6.50 for the dish..

Something that Melvin ordered caught my eye again o.O Me and Onineko and Jessy ordered 1 each.. RM3.00 not bad la the price haha.. The garlic bread 1 piece oni looked abit.. er.. plain? ^^”

Overall la.. I dunno about Happy Valley near Crown Square there de la.. But I just think that Happy Valley in Inti really lack of enough portion for hungry students swt..  a bit simply lo.. haha.. ^^” Maybe they just need more improvements that’s all or it wasn’t enough for me swt.. XD
